About B.G. Smith

For 24 years, B.G. Smith documented violence as a retired federal law enforcement officer. Now he writes flash fiction and micro fiction stories to process what he saw and explore the moral complexities he couldn't address on the job.

His work has been published in Pocket Fiction, The Drabble, 101 Words, Quotidian Bagatelle, WATG Press, Dark Moments (Black Hare Press), and over a dozen other literary journals.
